The Silver Threads Series
All of the work displayed on this website are originals, created and exectuted by the artist, Eleanor K. Rowland. The pieces are painted with professional quality mixed water media, consisting of acrylic, gouache, transparent watercolor, water soluble pencils and water soluble sticks, on a rare, elegant surface consisting of Japanese rice paper laminated to a metallic base. The combination is conservation quality and will maintain the quality indefinitely.
All original paintings will be shipped complete with double conservation mattings, a select frame of 1.5 to 2 inches (for the larger), chosen with gold and silver patterns to complement the painting. All paintings are protected with Acrylic plexiglass.
Originals will be shipped within a few days. As an option, if you decide to request a print, the waiting time would be from two to four weeks. The selling price of a print will depend on your preference of size and other services, such as matting and framing. Please notify me by email with specific preferences.
